@macafricascot England seems to forget that the try in the world cup would of only added 4 points to the total (If the try was converted, if not 2) as there was a penalty which they converted from the play. Therefore, the try would have not won the game anyway.

@macafricascot “Whinging”… uh yeah, don’t think a passing comment made on a YouTube constitues three years of whinging.

  8. macafricascot

@GoFedererWoo Still whinging 3 years later. Pathetic

  9. GoFedererWoo

Same referee who screw England out of a try in the World Cup final ‘07 screwed the Lions here. Disgraceful.

@roborob101 Remember this! The people of the Netherlands, the country from which your ancestors hailed from are among the least-racist people, I’ve ever came across. They are wonderful. I hope they do well in the finals!!! Go Hollanders! I’ve got nothing against ‘Boere Mense’. Rather I’m speaking out against injustice and racism!

@amasonga I mean the right education to go into politics and/or regional government. I know of instances where some people, in charge of multi-million Rand budgets, didn’t even finish school. This is one of the reasons contributing to the corruption and mismanagement of public funds in SA. Maybe a coalition government, controlled by the UN, would’ve been beneficial. We could’ve ensured that the people tasked with managing these budgets, had the right ‘tools’ to do it efficiently from the get go.

@amasonga As far as politics go, it’s my opinion that things should of been done differently when apartheid was abolished and SA became democratic. There should have been a longer ‘transition period’. This would’ve allowed people time to get acquainted to politics, before being thrust into government, whether it be national or regional. I’m not talking about guys at the top end of the scale, like Mandela, Mbeki etc. I’m talking about the people who didn’t necessarily have the right education….

@amasonga Unfortunately, the reality is that it’s only the priveledged boys, whose parents can afford for them to attend traditional rugby schools where they’d get the necessary exposure to top coaching etc, that make it. This is sad from a rugby perspective, because with the Boks doing so well over the last few years, interest in rugby would be high. So if money was spent in the right places, the Springbok ‘capture’ net would be full to the brim with talent.

@amasonga I didn’t mean the Boere have to decide on everything. Where sport is concerned, especially rugby, I agree with you that the selectors should represent the demographics of the country, in order to achieve un-biased selections. However, due to corruption and mismanagement in SARU, the moneys destined for the under priveledged communities never get there, which directly influences the level of rugby player that comes from it.

@leinstermad So the half of you that is Black, is that going back to Africa? The world is now a mix of cultures, do all Irish in the US go back as they are on land of the American Indians. Piss off Mate, no wonder there are so many jokes of the Irish, your thinking proves it.

  16. roborob101

@leinstermad Why is most of the country still living in squalor? I’m afraid that’s a question only the ANC government can answer my friend. They promised much and delivered nothing. Also, there’s an old saying which states if you spend too much time looking behind you, you’ll end up heading in the wrong direction! Give them back their country and leave? Why? So it can end up like Zimbabwe?? That’s like saying the Irish should give Ireland back to the hunter-gatherers of Europe and leave. Grow up

  17. leinstermad

@roborob101 Whoops. Looks like we caught right Boer here. Thats complete and utter bollix and you know it man.

If you have been busy since 1994 – why is most of the country still living in squalor? The Boer still rules in SA . In all the key financial areas. The govt is a joke. Give them back their country and LEAVE!

this still hurts to watch =(

@roborob101 Why do the Boere have to decide who comes in? What is that? Baas mentality has to stop! Let the country’s majority decide, but at the same time protecting minorities’ rights. The minority had their say under the dictatorial regime of Apartheid, let the majority decide now, it’s called democracy.

  20. amasonga

@roborob101 Yes it would be wonderful and amazing, if all South Africans of any origin come together without any prejudice and zero tolerance for racism. I believe it will happen, if past wounds are looked at and healed. Then justice will come forth. South Africa is a beautiful country, good luck!

  21. amasonga

@roborob101 That’s your opinion, since you favor Whites, because that’s the way your society was based upon. Apartheid has had a very poweful impact on your society dividing clearly people on skin color concerning many issues. This is why any selectioning board should be racially diverse to avoid bias thinking and racism. However this isn’t needed in a society which wasn’t brutally racialised.

  22. amasonga

@roborob101 16 years? That’s nothing to fix all the Apartheid mistakes. It will take much more than that, because things didn’t start changing right then! There was a system firmly in place, for so many years, over 90% of the wealth was in the hands of the minority. The majority is still way poorer than the priviledged minority! The architects of Apartheid forgot about the after-effects of an oppressed majority. Concerning sports, I believe in merit not bias!

@roborob101 Personally I’m for the one who truly qualifies for the job. Nevertheless, due to your country’s history, where Whites were always favored there seem to be an uprising against that. The Apartheid regime gave rise to the Affirmative Action in the New R.S.A., however it’s up to the South African government to regulate this system before it goes overboard. The equality as you wished it to be can only be reached if more are educated.

  24. amasonga

@roborob101 With all the respect, you cannot look at normal circumstances. Your country during Apartheid was not democratic, a typical group had all the power and decided everything. This is why a system like Affirmative Action was born, to bridge the gap between the over-priviledged and the over-neglected. Equality had no place in your society due to Apartheid policy. The difference between a school in Sandton and the other in Soweto, was worse than day and night.

  25. amasonga

@roborob101 Well you seem to have to misread my quotes. What I mean is that you by being a White man and a Boere benefited from the evil Apartheid regime, whether you wanted it or not. You were part of the priviledged minority. I think you can’t disagree with that fact, I lived briefly in your country.
